A humble café. Few tables, a lot of heart. Coffee, local wine, raki, ouzo and appetizers made by my grandmother, with fresh fish, vegetables from the garden, olives and oil from our own trees.
Our parents took over the café with a vision to preserve the tradition. The café became a tavern, grandma's and mom's recipes became a legend, and our name began to travel.
Children, we continue with respect for the past and an eye to the future. We bring the same flavors, the same love for cooking, and the same hospitality — tailored to modern needs without losing their character.
We work exclusively with producers on the island and the wider region — many of them have been supplying us for decades. Our fish comes from local fishermen, our vegetables and olive oil, from producers in the wider area that we know personally.

What we serve is the Kalamos on the plate
For 75 years, this place has served one purpose: to offer authentic island cuisine with respect for tradition and the visitor. What started as a local meeting point, has become a beloved seaside destination where beautiful stories, delicious flavors, and pleasant memories continue to be shared.
We invite you to experience it — not as a tourist experience, but as a meal that truly represents our place. To sit by the sea, to taste and enjoy delicious flavors that we inherited, to feel the hospitality that has kept us alive here for seventy-five whole years.
